Npower Batch C2 Volunteers Non Payment of 4 Months Stipends 2023 News Today

The Npower Batch C2 Volunteers Lament Over Non Payment Of 4 Months Stipends. This came after the Humanitarian Affairs Ministry stated that the beneficiaries of NSIP programme stage a thank you rally for President Buhari in Nasarawa and Katsina State for initiating the NSIP programme.

Batch C stream 2 beneficiaries are indifferent from the situation on ground as some of them are seen complaining bitterly on social media about their 4 Months unpaid stipends.

According to the Npower Batch C2 Volunteers, they have been working tirelessly since October 2022 without a single salary. We are really suffering going to the PPA using our personal money for transportation, they said.

They Npower beneficiaries are now considering using the social media and the press to protest and are pleading with Buhari and Sadiya Umar Farouq to pay their 4 month backlog payment.

The NPower Program was initiated in 2016 shortly after President Muhammadu Buhari took over office. The program was meant to empower the youths with employability and entrepreneurship skills.

The Npower programme is now managed by the ministry of Humanitarian affairs, disaster management and social development under the leadership of HM Sadiya Umar Farouq.

The Npower programme initiatives is a well planned initiatives made to empower the youths of Nigeria to tackle poverty but the current management are finding it difficult to fulfill promises made to both the serving and exited beneficiaries of the scheme.
