About the programme
The National Agency for The Great Green Wall (NAGGW) Youth Volunteers Programme is a platform for youths who are passionate about land restoration solutions with the potential to transform Nigeria’s dry lands into a thriving economic hub. Learn more about NAGGW and what we do.
The NAGGW Youth Volunteers program is aimed at increasing the level of advocacy and accelerating income-generating activities, especially among the women and youth in the Great Green Wall Frontline communities in the frontline states (Borno, Yobe, Jigawa, Kano, Katsina, Zamfara, Sokoto, Kebbi, Bauchi, Gombe, Adamawa).
The NAGGW Youth Volunteers program intends to unlock, harness, and coordinate the vast potentials of the youth energy in the region into opportunities for achieving holistic nature-based solutions development and realization of the Great Green Wall vision in Nigeria.
