Brief about Kaduna Start-up and Entrepreneurship Programme (KADSTEP)
In a nutshell, the 2022/2023 Kaduna Start-up and Entrepreneurship Programme KADSTEP is a massive job creation campaign initiated by a tripartite relationship, between the Kaduna state government, the Bank of Industry and Kaduna Business School. The aims/purpose is to engage about 5,000 eligible young men and women resident in the state to pursue productive enterprise development initiatives.
Towards the end of 2022/2023 KADSTEP programme, participants will learn from and interact with leading national entrepreneurs, business professionals and other youth who are keen on_ innovation, while expanding their networks’ for potential collaborations for good.
The 2022 KADSTEP programme includes:
- a community service project
- mentorship scheme
- design thinking
- and an opportunity to pitch for funding.
All successful Shortlisted and admitted KADSTEPER’s will be able to join Kaduna Business School Network, Bank of Industry Ambassadors, Kaduna State Entrepreneurs and engage in alumni activities throughout the year.
Requirements/eligibility for 2022 KADSTEP programme
- Interested applicants must have a viable business proposition on Production, Allied Services, Manufacturing, ICT.
- Interested applicants must be committed to developing your existing enterprise.
- Interested applicants must have a post-secondary school qualification.
- Interested applicants must be between 18 to 40 years old.
