Why Npower Beneficiaries should be paid 50000 naira for March Stipends Usually prior to this time, Npower workers take home the benefit of N30,000 at the end of every month. How be it, the issue of the Corona virus disease [COVID-19],as a pandemic, has brought about breakdown in economies and an increase in the rate of poverty has been induced and this is due to the compulsory lockdown imposed on the nation.
As a result, a debate is being generated as to whether Npower workers would be included in the strategies taken to give out N20,000 each to the poorer masses in the country.
A question has been raised as to if, Npower beneficiaries will be paid the N20,000 as additional stipend to survive the mandatory stay at home exercise. AS A REVIEW OF THE QUESTION, BENEFICIARIES ARE PRAYING FOR A POSITIVE REPLY FROM THE GOVERNMENT.
To think, the payment of N50,000 to Npower beneficiaries at this point in time is not a bad idea. This would enable the beneficiary to save, a goal which many of them may have been unable to achieve, from their N30,000 monthly stipends.
Beneficiaries are saying that as the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs Disaster Management and social Development [HADMSD] is working effortlessly to pay all Npower beneficiaries N30,000 as March stipend, she should as well put it to consideration, that the addition of N20,000 to all Npower beneficiaries in Nigeria prior to the Pandemic disease outbreak that has caused many Nigerians to stay at home in Nigeria wouldn’t be a bad idea at all.
Regardless of this, the good news for Npower beneficiaries is that the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs Disaster Management and Social Development [HADMSD], is ready and willing to pay March stipend any moment from now as the Federal government of Nigeria has also paid 20,000 Naira each to poorer in Nigeria.
Beneficiaries were further told to note that the delay in payment is as a result of the pandemic which has affected key cities in the country and were urged to expect due payment in no time.
The Federal government, as we have learned, is paying the said N20,000 to the poorer masses in Nigeria just to reduce pain and poverty at this crucial time of a hard-hitting pandemic. The addition of the N20,000 for Npower workers may not be taken in consideration as they believe Npower beneficiaries are okay and well to do with the usual N30,000 payments.
