Job Position Registered Nurse (Employee of the Mission-All / or USEFMs, EFMs, or MOHs)
The post of a registered nurse is open to the public for application at the US mission to Nigeria. The hiring agency is the Abuja embassy and the job location is Abuja.
Job Duties
The duty of the registered nurse is to serve as the post’s nurse. Responsibilities includes; offering medical care to the Mission employees and qualified family members under MED approved clinical guidelines;
Maintaining and keeping account of all medical equipment and supplies;
Should be able to plan vaccination program, to administer health education programs to individuals and groups;
Job Requirements
Applicants should have at least two (2) years of post-qualification work as a professional nurse;
should be able to understand MED’s policies and procedures regarding medical evacuations, hospitalizations, and insurance reimbursement methodology;
Should have Degree (RN Level) in Nursing or Diploma/Certificate equivalent from an accredited School of Nursing alongside a valid nursing license or a current unrestricted Registered Nursing license from Nigeria, country of origin, or the U.S.

Skills And Abilities:
Should have basic computer skills and be conversant with the use of Microsoft word;
Should have savvy interpersonal skills and a client-oriented disposition that can take care of complex interactive challenges in cases of difficult and emotional situations.
