If you can remember we share an update a few days ago regarding the effort the government is making to ensure that they institutionalized the Npower Programme and other NSIP programme.
Npower Latest News Update Today for Beneficiaries across 36 States
The Ministry has continued the rolling out of some of the NSIP programs across the country. And one of such activity is the visit of the Minister to Owerri Imo State on Saturday to flag off and supervise the Grant for Vulnerable Groups and other NSIPs which include:
- Roll-Out the Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme (GEEP 2.0).
- Launch the Digitized Conditional Cash Transfer payment system for the Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) Programme to improve the pace of payment
- Handover of utensils and Flag-off of the National Sensitization Exercise for the National Home-Grown School Feeding Programme (NHGSFP), which seeks to educate and sensitize communities and stakeholders on the proper and more effective implementation of the NHGSFP.
- The onboarding of Stream II of the Independent Monitors (IMs) who are drawn from the local youth population and employed for 12 months, with a monthly stipend of N30,000 to closely monitor and report on the implementation and performance of all the NSIP projects in the State.
Furthermore, as part of this, Npower beneficiaries are advised to stay updated via the Nasims self-service portal for latest update regarding payment of stipends and posting of Stream 2.
