As a measure to further the transforming of the country into a knowledge-based and IT-driven economy, the National Information Technology and Development Agency is introducing the NITDA Technology Innovation Support Scheme to provide the golden opportunity for producing the variety of both Hub Managers and Technology startups to see to the massive creation of entrepreneurs and jobs within the ecosystem. 1. Technology Capacity Building:
This component involves equipping Nigerian youths with the technological skills required to innovate, secure decent work and also to access out sourcing opportunities.
2. Hub Upskilling:
The programme is designed to ensure that Hub Managers have the required skills sets to support digital startups and build innovation ecosystems in their localities.
3. Internship Programme:
This programme is designed to provide the startups with the opportunity to work with the established Hubs and companies. It is said to be a good source of provision for capacity building, mentorship and hands-on experience through the engagement in real life projects.
4 Incubation Programme:
This is a programme designed to support the idea-stage startups to scale up from Ideas to Programme market thus the benefit of the technology world in the country.

Selection Criteria
The selection criterias for the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Support Scheme are strictly based on merit and the selection Is equally distributed among the 36 States and FCT in the country.
