Latest Npower News today Regarding Npower Exit Transition by Minister Of Finance We are bringing to you today the latest npower news for the month of July 2020, Today being the 13th day of July 2020 the honorable Minister of finance, budget and National planning, Zainab Shamsuna Ahmed was interviewed on NTA early this morning, the Interview on NTA followed by a question and answers and generally it was a discussion kind of interview, Someone asked a question pertaining to Npower exit Transition 2020 which the honorable Minister responded below is the response she gave during the nta interview this morning.

Is there a plan for Federal Government to give beneficiaries a permanent job rather than disengaging them to the street?

The Minister of finance, budget and National planning, Zainab Shamsuna Ahmed responded and this is what she said, On the loses of the job for Npower, yes there are Npower employee that has been exited but there is another batch that is going to come out.

She said the essence of the whole idea of Npower was that you were to be employed for two years, during the period you are developing skills and then you exit by taking a loan from GEEP to start your own business and that is the concept we are going back to.

These ones that have been exited have stayed for over three years and have the opportunity to apply for all of these loans that are structured and we have another batch that is coming.
